7th edition of the Xlendi Sunset Festival announced

The Minister for Gozo and Planning, Clint Camilleri, officially announced the 7th edition of the Xlendi Sunset Festival, which will take place in Xlendi tomorrow Saturday, 9 August 2025, from 8.30pm onwards, in Xlendi.

Camilleri said the festival has established itself as one of the most popular and anticipated summer events in Gozo. 

It brings together families, youths, and tourists for a unique night filled with culture, live music, and entertainment in a picturesque setting. 

“As a Ministry, we are once again supporting this festival through financial assistance, as part of our commitment to continue strengthening and seeking more opportunities for families and youth in Gozo,” Camilleri said.

This year’s festival will include performances by popular local artists, including Rebecca and the Passengers, Gianluca Bezzina, DJ Ryan Spiteri, and DJ MyKill.

The event is being jointly organised by Munxar Falcons FC and the Youth Section of the Munxar St. Paul’s Association (SZPM) — two organizations that play an active role in the Munxar community and, year after year, continue to strengthen the social and cultural life of the locality.

Munxar mayor Damien Spiteri urged the public to attend the event while praising the involvement of local voluntary organisations and the financial support of the Ministry for Gozo and Planning as well as the Local Council.

Camilleri too encouraged people to attend this family-oriented festival, which will be held in a setting that promises to make the experience a memorable one for all attendees. 

He thanked the organisers, artists, and all volunteers who are contributing to the continued growth and success of this festival.

Entrance is free, and there will be a free park and ride service to ensure the festival is as accessible and comfortable as possible for everyone.
