The OASI Foundation has announced the successful completion of the 12th Edition of the OASI Cup Run & Fun Walk, held on Sunday, 4 October 2026, in Victoria, Gozo.

The annual event brought together over 300 participants, ranging from 4 years to 70+, for a morning dedicated to physical activity, well-being, positivity and community spirit. This year’s edition featured the 10KM and 5KM road runs, children’s races, a 5KM Fun Walk, as well as the Buddy Run and Family and Group Walks, creating an inclusive event for people of different ages and abilities.

The OASI Cup Run & Fun Walk has become one of the Foundation’s annual community events, bringing people together while supporting OASI’s wider mission. As a non-governmental, non-profit organisation, the OASI Foundation provides free and confidential services related to addiction prevention, treatment, rehabilitation and aftercare, while continuing to promote healthier lifestyles and greater awareness within the community.

The Foundation would like to express its sincere appreciation to all participants, volunteers, marshals, sponsors, collaborators and supporters who contributed to the organisation and success of this year’s event. Their continued support helps make the Cup Run & Fun Walk a special event for the Gozo community year after year.

“A special thank you also goes to everyone who took part, whether by running, walking, volunteering or supporting from the sidelines. The enthusiasm and community spirit shown throughout the morning once again demonstrated the importance of coming together to promote health, connection and positive choices,” the foundation said.

The OASI Foundation is now inviting the community to join them for their annual Jump for Life event, taking place on 27 December at Xlendi Bay. The event brings people together in a celebration of courage, hope and recovery, as participants take the traditional leap into the sea and symbolically embrace their own journey of recovery and new beginnings.
