Gozitan students left waiting for Route 150 bus after fast ferry crossing, PN MP says

Students from Gozo were left waiting for a Route 150 bus that failed to arrive in Valletta after crossing from Gozo on the fast ferry, according to Nationalist MP and Gozo Shadow Minister Frank Anthony Tabone.

In a Facebook post, Tabone said students had once again found themselves in the same situation on Friday morning, despite him raising the issue of public transport difficulties in Parliament on Wednesday.

He said students were waking up before dawn to catch the fast ferry from Gozo to Valletta, only to be left waiting for the Route 150 bus, which he claimed failed to show up.

Tabone said the situation was disrespectful towards students, their time and the sacrifices they make daily to pursue their education.

“Is it really that difficult to notify students when a service will not operate, so they can look for an alternative?” he said. 

The PN MP called for a regular and reliable bus service, with schedules coordinated with fast ferry arrivals and sufficient capacity to ensure that no student is left behind.
