More than 70 new students have started their studies at the University of Malta’s Gozo Campus for the 2026/2027 academic year, with almost all courses offered at the campus attracting enrolments.

The courses are delivered on a part-time basis and include undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, as well as a range of micro-credentials.

Undergraduate options include a Diploma in Commerce, a Bachelor of Commerce in Business and Enterprise Management and Economics, and a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Criminology.

At postgraduate level, students can pursue a Master in Counselling or a Master of Arts in Health, Medicine and Society.

The campus is also offering four micro-credentials: Introduction to Maltese Law, The Art of Maltese Bobbin Lace 1, Maltese Lace: Advanced Approach 2, and Effective Organisational Communication.

Separately, the university has reached an agreement with the Gozo University Group (GUG) to provide dedicated space at the campus for the organisation’s activities.

The agreement builds on a collaboration established last year, when a study hub was made available to students during examination periods.

The university said the developments marked an important step in the continued growth of its Gozo campus, strengthening access to higher education and student support services on the island.

It also thanked the university’s faculties, centres and other entities for their support, as well as the Ministry for Gozo and the Gozo Regional and Development Association for their contribution and continued collaboration.

The university said it hoped to build on the latest developments by further expanding educational opportunities and services available to the Gozitan community.
